Thank You for visiting Malekko Heavy Industry Corporation.

We are striving to create unique, superlative pedals in a few different designs. Our hand-made pedals will not appeal to everyone, but the number of Converts increases daily!

Our first pedal, the Barker ASSMASTER, is a modern version of my trusty Maestro Bass Brassmaster.

I was introduced to the Brassmaster in 1981, when I played with the Blackouts in Seattle. The guitarist/vocalist, Erich Werner, used one with awesome results. From that point on, I was always on the lookout for a Brassmaster to buy.

In 1990, I was able to finally retire my TS9s, Big Muff, Rat, Super Overdrive, etc, pedals. I was at a guitar show and found a NOS Brassmaster and thereafter used it for most of my distortion needs, both in the studio and live.

That is, up until now.

The Barker ASSMASTER is a better sounding distortion pedal! The Holy Grail of Distortion has been undermined!

I use the ASSMASTER with everything. It always sounds great and still surprises me with it's flexibility.

And now the ASSMASTER Germanium gives me another sound to my distortion pallette.

I am thrilled to have my name on such an incredible pedal! You will not be disappointed.
